Easynet Group PLC |
| Position |
| Web site design, documentation |
| Responsibilities |
| Design, layout and content of "Help" section of new Easynet service |
|
Easynet is a major Internet Service Provider in the United Kingdom,
based in London. Design and creation of
"Help" section
of new web site, for use with Easynet's new Virtual Internet Provider
service. Using existing documentation (much from previously created Help
section - outlined in following position below), and writing new where
necessary. Site design was completed within certain requirements, such
as no use of frames, optimal speed for dial-up modem users, and easily
navigated by first-time Internet users.
This work was completed while residing in Prague, Czech Republic. Using
a local dial up Internet connection, I was able to copy work daily from
my local machine to Easynet's web servers in London. Also maintained
close contact with colleagues and supervisors in London via email,
discussing requirements and work progress.
Note : at present Easynet's Virtual Internet Provider service has not
been fully launched; thus the Help site is not yet live on any Easynet
site. The link above is to a local copy of the work.
