[erik gets out his Press Gang tape 1] yes! that's exactly the one! I would suggest Deadline for three different reasons: The first one is that it's dead funny. Everybody should be able to enjoy it, even if they don't like Press Gang (which is very unlikely) The second one is that it's still a very early episode and therefor you don't need to know the characters to well to understand their behaviour. It's a great episode to learn more about the main characters as well as to meet them first time. The third one is the same as the 2nd, it's much nicer to watch Press Gang from beginning to end without knowing what will happen later. For that reason an early episode should be a better choice than a fifth season one. About my "first time": My first episode was Both Sides Of The Paper. I liked it from the start, although I wouldn't suggest that episode to watch first. I got addicted to press gang after watching two episodes I think. I remember being very worried that Lynda might be gone forever when watching Monday-Tuesday, and that was only two episodes later. It was on Nick Germany 5 days a week and I did nothing all day but wait for the next episode to come on for 9 weeks. They showed "The Big Finish?" on a friday and I was worried sick all weekend that it might be over. After "There Are Crocodiles" I was convinced that Lynda died and I got drunk quite a few times. Deadline was one of the last episodes I saw, but it's one of my most favourite. My least favourite is Interface (I do like Billy, but I don't like the plot of that episode). :-) erik "Tommy! You're looking great!" "Colin, you're looking at me. Don't." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Erik.Gander@stud.uni-hannover.de | http://www.stud.uni-hannover.de/~gander/ F**K THE MILLENNIUM!!!
