It would have been on in Australia between about 1987 and 1990 I think, and had a bunch of Canadian kids doing sketches at home, in the studio, at Biff's Burgers etc. Whenever someone mentioned the word water they got a bucket of water tipped on them, and a bucket of slime if they said "I don't know", so they were lots of plans to trick each other into slipping up. They used to have "the opposite sketches" in each show, where the opposite of things in real life happened - Biff's Burgers were edible, kids ordered the parents around and so on. The other bit I remember was a recurring sketch of a firing squad, where the commander would go "Ready...Aim..." and be interrupted by the kid who was to be shot. The kid would then trick the commander into wandering into the line of fire before saying "Fire" and getting shot. I was really impressed at the number of different ways they had of doing this (I would guess there would have been 50 or more). Anyway, there's some more of my vague, off topic memories on another old kids TV show :) Cheers, Jonathan Ricks ****************************************** *jc_ricks@postoffice.sandybay.utas.edu.au* ****************************************** -- T H E P R E S S G A N G M A I L I N G L I S T By default, pressing 'reply' will send mail back to the list, not to the author of the message you're replying to.
