So it has been too quiet on the mailing list for some people. Well,
there is a way to fix that, so I'll throw out a wacky idea bouncing
around in my gruntled postal worker brain and see what y'all make of
it. That way those newbies to the list will see us actually discussing
something (point one) and maybe discussing it intelligently (point
two.) Anybody want to cover the intelligently part? It's a little out
of my league.
Thought: Does anyone think that somewhere in the future Lynda will lose
Spike to Sarah?
If the last scenes in "Friendly Fire" are any indication, there will
someday be another battle of wills between Sarah and Lynda, and wouldn't
it make a great soap opera plot to have the battleground be over Spike,
who I think would be better off with Sarah. Don't think Sarah probably
doesn't think that, either, because she spends more than one episode
trying to keep Spike on the paper when Lynda couldn't care less about
him. She also tells Lynda that Lynda let a good one get away when Spike
left for America, and has been at least a little starry-eyed over him
(as a celebrity, perhaps, but then who can tell?) since they first meet
in "Page One".
Gruntling on his rounds (and thank you for the new word, Murray!)
