no no no no no. spike and sarah, definitely NOT. although i think sarah begrudgingy respects spike, they are completely wrong for each other. i think what sarah really needs is a quiet, yet deeply spirited, unassuming intellectual with whom she could discuss literature and her writing etc. difinitely not spike. anyway, the whole nature of the show would be ruined if spike got together with any of the other main characters. the good thing about pg is that there is so much more to it that who's with who. if they get into partner swapping, i think they run the risk of quickly descending into an incestuous mess a la melrose place or BH 90210 (and no, i am not saying quality drama such as pg resembles either of those trashy shows in any way...neither is that a slur on anyone who watches those trashy shows cos i do too- have i covered my back enough yet?). anyway, kevin, i suspect you raised this point somewhat idly, mostly as a discussion point, yet i seem to have given it a lot of thought. thanks, anyway, it turned the topic back to pg and gave my idle brain some food for thought in the middle of the holidays (which, by the way, are now half over for me, my rotten course goes back 19th january!!!!! i thought this was meant to be uni! this is almost as bad as working in the really world! 8 weeks holiday...what is this? school?!...rant...rave...gripe...moan...) so long. there is xmas shopping to be done. cya zoe -- T H E P R E S S G A N G M A I L I N G L I S T By default, pressing 'reply' will send mail back to the list, not to the author of the message you're replying to.
