Okay, since I cheated and went off-topic to tweak Murray, I suppose I
should make up for it. Here's a question I've been meaning to ask since
I saw "Interface"---who is the contact Mr. Homer has on the paper he
mentions when discussing things over dishwater with Lynda. I have gone
under the assumption that it was Spike, since Spike shows up at a rather
convenient moment in the discussion to give Lynda the most exquisite
kind of grief imaginable. BUT Spike isn't hip to the clues in the phony
ad, so is he playing dumb, or does he really not know? Colin would be
my next guess, since it is rather convenient he knows all the inside
dope about Sarah being on the short list, and rather logical he'd win
the contest himself if it were him in on the fix. BUT in "Something
Terrible", Colin doesn't know Billy's name, calling him Roger by
mistake. Odd that, if it were him fixing up the deal for Mr. Homer.
Could the contact be Matt Kerr? Any ideas out there to help a
struggling PG scholar would be greatly appreciated.
