two series at least) that the Newroom really was a room - rather than a
major set construction - it seemed to have a ceiling, and four walls - I'd
wondered about what it was like to direct in actually.

i've always enjoyed the newsroom as a set, too. it really has the feel of a
real newsroom, complete with a ceiling (which most sets have no concept of at
all). i also love the set dressing, it really has a lived in feel all the
time, although i feel sorry for the dressers who had to clean up after all the
paper throwing, etc. whenever someone had a fit or the like.
