Okay, A QUARTER TO MIDNIGHT stretches credibility a little. This is
fiction, after all, and I'm willing to overlook a little here and there
if the story is good in other respects. This is a brilliant Lynda
episode and one of Julia Sawalha's best performances in the series. It
is also one of the few times in the canon where we see Lynda Day's cast
iron exterior crack and her real feelings about Spike show through.
