I always thought the mention fo Tiddler having a crush on Spike as
comming in the first series. Lynda makes a comment about Spike and
his behavour to Tiddler. I'll get the precise dialoge later.

Hmm I think Tiddler probably got scared of what Lynda would do to
her and anyway Spike was clearly completly obsessed with Lynda from
very early on.
