>Lynda's being assimilated into the >mainstream of young adult life. Kicking and screaming sometimes, but she's >moving. True, although in the case of the get together in "A Quarter to Midnight", her attendance is initially supposed to be social (she strongly resists going then) and it is only when it becomes a matter of strengthening her powerbase that she decides to go. > Lynda's much maligned sense of humor is always underrated by everyone: Not by me, I hope. >her put-downs of Spike in the first season are proof she can be funny, but only >when she wants to, much in the way her memory is rather selective about who she >knows and why. Absolutely her putdowns, snappy comebacks, plays on peoples paranoia, occasional practical jokes, career advice (remember her helpful advice to Sophie and Laura re: hairdressing in "Breakfast at Czar's"? "Want a _real_ challenge! :)"), etc show that Lynda has a sense of humour, as indeed does the way she interacts with Spike's jokes. However, I think in the case of the party hooter's, we're looking at a girl who's missed the point a little - she's not had much time for trivialities, has our Lynda.
