Well guys I think you are going overboard in your theory's here. The storyline did not go any deeper than having the two make a bet and as a little joke to lighten the end. It was very clever and some people dont seem to even notice it. And as you may have seen ol' Spike and Lin dont seeem to have a problem getting romantic in Taxi's!!!!!
