Arrrrrrgh!!!!!
I am having a BAD day!! I woke up this morning to discover that the
Brisbane City Council are having a bus driver strike! The only way for me
to get to uni is by bus, or else I can walk, and that takes about four
hours. So I had to wake up my poor nurse of a sister, who had just come
off night shift and hadn't slept for 24 hours, and beg her to drive me to
uni. Luckily she agreed, and now my only problem is getting home from
uni. I guess it looks like I'll be walking...either that or paying $20
for a taxi. Bugger! Down with strikes! Down with protests!
Oh, to make this relevant to PG....
I wonder why no one on PG seems to catch buses? Aeroplanes, yeah, trains,
sure, taxi, yep, but no buses. Is this something to do with England's
public transport? Or just a whim of Steven Moffatt?
yours in blissful anticipation of her four hour hike,
Catherine
