Hi from another PG addict I just discovered the list yesterday, and thought that I'd better introduce myself. I'm Lucy from Birmingham UK, aged 26 and have been a huge fan of the show since I first saw The Big Hello whilst studying for a Maths degree at university. Am I the only fan who started my addiction at the age of 20 ? I received much ridicule from my college friends who remain unconvinced to this day and still claim that it's a kids show!! It's great to find that there is a whole group of people who still remember the episode titles and some outrageously funny scenes. I'm surprised to find so many Australians on the list. I knew that PG was shown in Canada and not in America as I was in the USA for a year when season 5 was to be aired. Hence had to wait until I returned to see the excellent 'Head and Heart', 'Food Love and Insecurity', 'Windfall'and 'There are Crocodiles'. And I thought I was just homesick. Is there anyone else out there who thinks that the Internet acronym ROTFLMAO was invented by someone who had watched entirely too many episodes of PG :) Did anyone find out what happened to the show on Nickelodeon ?? I was so impressed to see it receiving a whole new lease of life with an enthusiastic introduction from the girls. Then the running order went screwy and Alex Mack appeared. I was surprised that there was no mention of it on Mailbox on Paramount as Ed seems to be a fan. Anyway bye for now , Glad to be on the list Lucy - * THE PRESS GANG MAILING LIST * * To unsubscribe from this list, send mail containing the * word "unsubscribe" to "pressgang-request@yoyo.org". * * By default, replies are directed back to this list, * not to the author of the message you're replying to. |
