You may recall that about 4 weeks ago we all briefly discussed the possibilitys of typing up the PG scripts and putting them on the Web. Well, I mailed Steven Moffat to get his response . Steven replied today and graciously allowed me to post his response to the group. Steven Moffat writes: > Hi. > > Sorry I've been a while in replying - I've been away working on Chalk 2, as > you surmised. > > As far as the typing up the scripts for the net is concerned, permission for > that is not mine to give. Any part of this you want to put on the Mailing List is fine by me. Well Steven is clearly not going to object if we post his scripts on the Web. He clearly states that we may still not be able to do this legally but he certainly won't object and he thinks no one else will either. As far as I'm concerned, if Steven is happy for us to post his scripts on the Web then we should all strongly consider doing this. It would be a great addition to Matt's excellent PRESS GANG pages and it would spread the word to those people who have never seen PG and want to see what all the fuss is about. If we all picked one episode each then we could have the entire five series' scripts transcribed in no time at all. I'm certainly keen to do this. I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks. ------------------ Regards Vince Deehan Wembley London http://www.deehan.demon.co.uk -- | T H E P R E S S G A N G M A I L I N G L I S T | | | | By default, replies will go back to this list, not to | | the author of the message you're replying to. | | | | To unsubscribe from this list, mail the word | | "unsubscribe" to "pressgang-request@yoyo.org". | |
