Certain people (naming no british broadcasting corporations) have "strongly discouraged" publication of their stuff on the net though by sites other than their own. So this is a big grey area. :-( > > I have looked in briefly on the archived messages for the Press Gang mailing > > list, before running away in horror at what they were saying about Chalk - > > not > > to mention the sideswipes at Lucy Benjamin and Wavelength. Right - well that too is that one cleared up. I hope noone on this list ever goes against Steven's wishes on this; I'll be rather put out if that happens. > Well Steven is clearly not going to object if we post his scripts on the > Web. I think the next up the copyright chain is Richmond F&TV so we'd need to go to them next. Anyone fancy writing to them? I doubt they're on the net. I would volunteer straight away but considering the way I slagged off Wavelength last week maybe that's not such a good idea. :-) > As far as I'm concerned, if Steven is happy for us to post his scripts > on the Web then we should all strongly consider doing this. Yes, as long as we agree a consistent format so that they all look the same then I'd be in. I would volunteer to coordinate this as well. > If we all picked one episode each then we could have the entire five > series' scripts transcribed in no time at all. I'm certainly keen to do this. Yep, me too. > I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks. Before anything else happens we have to clarify the copyright position. It's the same with the T-Shirts, quotations lists, etc etc ad nauseam.
