I remember obtaining them thru special order at WHSmith in the summer of 1989 and being astonished at how cheap childrens books were compared to adult ones. It was the best £7.80 I ever spent - I laughed out loud on reading them. > I never did get the video though; it was on order at WH Smiths for > well over a year, but was out of stock. I fell across the video for the bargain price of £7.99 in a clearance at our local Wilkinsons hardware store - I was most impressed since I didn't even know that it existed at the time ;) I could never understand why more weren't released. Now I feel really lucky that I got the stuff just in time. Lucy BTW If the script idea comes off then I'll volunteer my services as the slowest but most enthusiastic typist in the world ! BTW It takes ages to type up a script (It once took me 3 hours to transcribe one 10 minute interview and I think I wore out that patch of video with all the pausing) but it would be a great project to embark upon. -- | T H E P R E S S G A N G M A I L I N G L I S T | | | | By default, replies will go back to this list, not to | | the author of the message you're replying to. | | | | To unsubscribe from this list, mail the word | | "unsubscribe" to "pressgang-request@yoyo.org". | |
