Hi All, At the risk of re-opening a dead thread (I can only log in one or two nights a week due to my uni schedule): Someone (could it be Erik?) mentioned about the batteries in Lynda's mobile phone wearing out after all that time in the vault. Well, I'm not a mobile user myself, but I think it can be explained - Lynda (being the semi-omnipotent being she is) would want to be reachable at all times, so presumably she has one battery in the mobile and one being charged at all times. So we can assume that Lynda got someone to put a fully charged battery in her mobile (I doubt she could do it without causing some damage) before they left the newsroom at the end of the night shift. - I think the poster said it was unlikely Lynda would have turned off the mobile, but I seem to remember Julie saying something along the lines of "I can't even raise Lynda to do her ringing back trick - she must have turned it off to save batteries". And Natacha opined: >> How could any mere mortal be anything like Lynda?? >Was she ment to be a mere Mortal?? I thought we loved her because she >wasn't one. This, of course, is (part of) the basis of my 'everythings okay' idea of what happened after/during "There Are Crocodiles" ("Never forget who runs this newsroom!")
