I came across an article in US magazine which read--
Things can get pretty ugly if your beautiful and -ahem- British. Just ask
Sadie Frost "In this country (the States), people aren't afraid of
beautiful women. In England, if you look anything like a model, you either
wind up in a James Bond film or you don't get work."
hmm.....I don't know if looking like a model could hurt anyone's career but
*acting* like one definately would! Aside from that, I really have no idea
if there is any truth to the whole Brits being afraid of beautiful women,
maybe one of you could clue me in?
