Hi, I haven't written to the list before but this letter forced me to do
it.... I too live in Adelaide (i thought I was the only one in South
Australia who had heard of the show) and like all people of good taste I am
a Huge PG fan...... I am 28 so I guess that almost makes me grandpa :) but
I was fortunate enough to catch the first episode of PG on it's first
Aussie veiwing on the ABC. I think I was having a sickie :) ...... And I
was interested enough to tape the next day's episode. I was hooked from the
begining but Colin and his (drugged) birdseed was when PG was raised to
cult status for me. It just got better from there. When I thought they
couldn't possibly better "Monday/Tuesday" they came right back with
"Shouldn't I be taller?" which they topped with episodes like the siege and
the following episode which revealed who on the "gazette staff" was dead.
There are so many that I could go on but we all know the episodes off by
heart and we all know what we like.
I would love to get the tapes of the show, if anyone would be so kind.
