I thought it was really great. Karen Cartlige (?), especially, was
brilliant. Lots of opportunities for her to indulge in gratuitous clever
wordplay ala David Thewlis in Naked ("I've a bad case of funereal
disease" etc). I thought it was really quite extraordinarily well
observed and perceptive about studentdom and post-adolescent angst
(areas in which I have some experience). If you put a gun to my head and
forced me to criticise something, I'd have to complain that it was over
too quickly! It had a very open-ended structure and I could easily have
stomached another hour or so.. I wanted more! It was quite surreal,
actually, sitting in Greater Union watching a movie with no real plot.
Go see, do.

I *love* Sophie and Laura. I wish they'd been featured more
prominently..
