I saw Into The Labyrinth. English series starring Ron Moody and Pamela
Salem that ran for three seasons. Had some amazing writers working on it
(such as acclaimed fantasy novelist Christopher Priest).

Elly And Jools is Australian, first broadcast in 1990 if I recall
correctly. Quite good. I'll try and dig up some info - it's not on hand at
the moment.
