My favourite shows that I can think of are as follows

Grange Hill - does anyone know how many series have been made and which one
         
              featured the maths teacher getting addicted to gambling and
nearly
              having an affair with a student and the kid with the deeply
              religious parents running off to Scotland. Help. Please.

Wish I could remember some more cheesy 80's kids shows
