That is a good point and I have also wondered about that myself. Its a hell
of thing to say about someone, especially when it goes so largely
unsubstantiated in the show. It does make you wonder why he would make those
kind or remarks when they are so seemingly undeserved. I can't come to any
conclusion other than that for some reason, Spike is just a way overly
histrionic guy.
