Call me biased or overly sensitive, but I was really offended by that bit.
Especially when he seems to get away with it (ie. there was no "set-up" and
"pay off", for example he could have later on get kicked in the head by
Michelle Yeoh's character or something).
At first the portrayal of a Bond girl, apart from being clearly Asian (even
"Chinese"! WOW! This is Hollywood we're talking about... the ultimate "US
of A"), actually having some sort of brains, can fend for herself, and can
resist Bond's charms was great. And what was that sudden change at the end?
"James"? Oh how I long for James Bond to have a plutonic relationship with
a woman he hasn't known for years, JUST FOR ONCE!! (Money Penny does NOT
count. :))
