At my school, lower school is first and second years (years 7 and 8 for
British systems nowadays - years 6 and 7 for the Australians, I
believe). But yeah - at the start of PG, I think Tiddler would be
second year High School - between 12 and 13, making her about 14 (or
third year i.e. no longer lower school) by the time of Something
Terrible.
