Anything with a vaguely similar plot can be said to have roots in "Its a
Wonderful Life", but real life would never be this stupid. I would have
liked this episode much better if, like I.A.W.L. and A CHRISTMAS CAROL,
Lynda really did learn something from her dream and saw what her impact
on her friends and co-workers had been. The only slaps Moffat takes at
this--the scene with Julie and Tiddler, and Lynda's confrontation with
Spike--come off the best.
