Both "Love and War" and "Page One" I think it is mention that Spike's real
name is James Thompson. The scary thing is that there is a boy who is in a
couple of my classes at school who is also called James Thompson. Whenever I
hear his name mention I always have to think for a moment before I realise
who they are talking abou; James at school or Spike. I am afraid that Press
Gang is so much apart of my life that, on my sleepier I can't tell the
difference between Press Gang and real life.
Does anyone else know people who have the same names as Press Gang people?
The thing with getting confused about T.V. shows, movies etc. and real life
happens to me all the time, I suppose I watch too much T.V. for my own good.
When I was reading "Pride and Prejudice" I always had an image of Julia as
Lydia in my mind. After reading it I would then go and watch "Press Gang"
and I would have to readjust to Julia as a completely different person.
Also when I was watching "Lionheart" at school (Dexter Fletcher is the only
thing going for it and even then I got upset at the end when he kissed
someone who wasn't Lynda) and I got really confused because one of the other
main characters was supposed to be French or English (I can't remember
which) but spoke with an american accent, Dexter Fletcher spoke with a
cockney accent and they had quite a few scenes with the main characters
walking along the horizon. You couldn't see who was talking and more than
once I thought Dexter was speaking when it was really the other guy because
of the accent.
Someone (sorry I forget who it was) asked what Dexter is doing now. I know
that he was in "Jude" (as a priest with a beard!!!!!!) To find out more look
him up on The Internet movie Database www.us.imdb.com I looked him up but
forget all the things that it said. It is a really good site and includes
all the cast, directors etc. of Press Gang (Does anyone know that Gabrielle
Anwar has co-produces a film called "Nevada"?)

now doing SACE (in case you are from south Australia and are unfortunate
enough to know about SACE)
