this is my last posting (most likely) at this account, so i hope it's good.
i think that spike could have thought that maybe lynda would refuse to die
because she didn't like the company. it's a very typical response, and i'm
sure spike was missing her a lot, so he would come up with anything to pretend
she was really alive.
sorry if this someone already thought of this, as i still have a million
messages to read after too many days of not reading because of moving.

actually spotted a definitive answer on this topic.
I was thinking about this one and looking for clues on whether Lynda
actually did die in Their Are Crocodiles and if Spike was just dreaming. I
believe that I have found an answer.
Somewhere in the dialogue, she tells Spike she refused to die because she
didn't like the company much. She was refering to David and Gary
(whatsisname)as being undesirable company. Now, there is no way Spike could
have known what Lynda was experiencing when she was out cold in the fire.
This line alone convinces me that she did indeed survive, and Spike was not
dreaming.
What do others think?
