We had a big discussion back in January and February about episodes we liked
most and least, and PICKING UP THE PIECES headed my worst list as it did many
other folks'. I thought this was a horrid episode made all the worse by having
two hysterically funny scenes (Lynda reading Kenny's mail; Spike kicking the
door Lynda's listening in at) surrounded by a bunch of boring and implausible
dreck. If we don't talk about some episodes much, that sometimes means we're
trying to forget them!
