Maybe if the phone call had been closer to the meeting, Kenny might have
recognised her, but the two events did occur quit a span of time apart.
Also, I find that it is hard to recognise people just by their voice. I
have a twin sister, but we don't look anything alike. But people have a
hard time telling us apart on the phone, to the point that I talked with
one of her friends for two hours before I finally admitted I was not she,
and even then he wouldn't believe me. Also, I'm sure Kenny had put Kelly
far behind him, and was never expecting to hear from her, much less
actually meet her, again, so he wasn't listening for her.
