The only pet Colin managed to kill was the goldfish. The dove got its revenge,
and Lynda the cat got back in through the window Julie was supposed to open.

Spike and Lynda bad? Difficult, maybe, but at least they wound up together.
The nice thing about writing your own fiction is the ability to fix little
relationship problems like these!

I don't think there is ever an official pronouncement within the series about
Matt Kerr's home life. There is a picture of a young girl posted on his office
bulletin board in LOVE AND THE JUNIOR GAZETTE, so he may have a daughter. Or
not. Note to my editors: stop grinning! Note to the rest of you--beware of
sequels, at least where Mr. Kerr is concerned. :)
