A friend of mine used to work at a dry cleaners in Putney (obscure
bit of South West London, best known for...well, nothing in
particular, although I read once that Nicola Bryant came from there,
which may interest the Peri fans out there...but, getting back on
subject). The "Crazy Stuff" guy (Henry Naylor, I *think*) used to
use the dry cleaners. My friend didn't recognise him from "Press
Gang," but in this country at least he's quite well known for
appearing with Rowan ("Blackadder") Atkinson in a series of ads for
Barclaycard. Apparently, he doesn't use Barclaycard himself. I
neglected to ask my friend if he carries around with him an
improbable looking domestic pet which has somehow acquired the power
of speech.
