Time to let the cat out of the bag...
Actually, I did volunteer at the time (to Matt) and he recently gave me
the go ahead to get one together. A few of us (mainly of the editorial
team from Kevin's story) have been getting together some stuff for the
FAQ, and will be giving it to Matt when we feel relatively happy with
it. He's going to stick it up on the web page, at which stage we'll be
after input from everyone on what else it needs/any corrections etc. We
felt it was best to do it this way because if we tried to assemble the
whole thing on-list, it'd probably take over the general conversation
stream, which is exactly what an FAQ is designed to prevent...
What I *would* like from everyone at the moment (posted to me here
(muzza@omen.net.au) so that the list isn't filled with FAQ's) is
suggestions of questions that you think should be covered... We have
quite a few ideas together, but we (doing the preliminary FAQ) have all
seen all the episodes, and most of us have been on the list for quite a
while. So any question that you think particularly fit into the feild
of "necessary background knowledge" on the series or the list itself,
anything that fits into the category of "frequently asked questions"
(especially ones which can be answered definitively (ie aren't still
argued)) or any other things which people should know before they join
the list would be appreciated.
