Anyone else here a Degrassi Junior High/Degrassi High fan?

Stash jumps in: From memory (and please someone correct me if my memory
is faulty) Caitlin, or rather Stacie Mistysn the actor who played
Caitlin, was actually a different character in the Kids of Degrassi
Street. I think her name was Lisa.
And yes, anyone who knows that much about Degrassi has to be a fan. So
I'm sprung. But it's different to my love for PG. I have every episode
but one of PG on tape (one of those unfortunate videotaping accidents we
all have nightmares about). With Degrassi, I only have the last four
episodes of Degrassi High on tape and the School's Out movie. I can
watch PG a million times (and I probably have) but I couldn't and
haven't with Degrassi.
I do really like the show though. Who could forget the twins, Erica and
Heather, who always dressed in black and white? Stephanie Kaye's slutty
outfits, later handed to Alexa in a garbage bag? (who should have thrown
the bag out, not shoehorned herself into them) Nancy, the rather large
girl, who was always in the background but was never given a storyline?
(actually she did get one in the kids series - it was about being fat,
would have been great for her self-esteem) Michelle, the girl with a bit
of a moustache? (funny they never dedicated an episode to that) And of
course, the focus for my undying love, Joey Jeremiah, esquire. The man
in the hat, who ran naked through the cafeteria and *bared* his soul (or
part of it) in the movie...
And talking of the movie, who could ever forget one of the classic
moments in modern cinema, Caitlin saying to Joey....
"Tessa Cappenelli? You were ****ing Tessa Cappenelli?" Would have loved
to see them try to get that through on the Afternoon Show.....
I know, I know, this is totally OT and I've rattled on in a
self-indulgent stream of consciousness for far too long, but I didn't
bring it up! And now it has been brought up, and I have had my
far-too-long say about it, I will not mention it again.
Stash, who is thinking maybe she should join up to a degrassi mailing
list as well
