No; Sophie and Laura were - did they actually *do* anything
constructive to the plot beyond being comic relief? Mind you, that's
probably aan unfair criticism, as a.) that was what they were meant
to be, and b.) IIRC they were sort of forced on Steven from the ITV
bods.

I don't know that I'd say she was boring/bland as a character; and as
a human being, Kelda is really rather nice to behold; *but* she's not
exactly God's gift to acting, is she? Some of her lines are
delivered in a bit of a dull monotone. IMHO, he adds to avoid the
putrid vegetables which will doubtless be chucked in his direction by
raging Kelda/Sarah fans...

*Nobody* could. I mean, *I* liked it (I like everything) but most
people ranked it second least favourite.

Eh? "Killer on the Line" is a *classic*! IMHO, again, but what
don't you like about it?

She's got no taste...

Which was why it was made...

IMHO, "Love and War" can't fail; I'm not given to hyperbole, but I
honestly believe that "Love and War" is just about the best episode
of anything, anywhere, ever - did it ever win anything? It should
do. I always cry when Lynda reads the letter.

Adios, dudes,
