That seems like a bit of a circular argument - I could say that Kevin (no,
not you Mr Nauta) was the wittiest character on the show, he just never got
to say any funny lines to prove it. :)

Bad hair? Can't say I ever really noticed it personally.

Tiddler's role in reflecting our desires was definitely a big part of her
character - firstly by trying to set them up in "Money, Love And Birdseed",
and later, in "The Big Finish?", trying to get Lynda to give us the "happy
ending.. traditional in these situations".

I agree that there was potential to use Tiddler a lot more than actually
happened in the last three series, although to be fair, the shorter series'
meant that a lot of the more minor characters went to the wayside...
Actually, that's probably not so much due to the more pragmatic idea of
shorter series' as the fact that the paper moved away from the school.
Tiddler showed up a few times, but Sophie and Laura were never seen again.
