Don't mean to be nit-picky here, but she wasn't fired by Lynda. Lynda was
chosen to fire her, but at the last minute Claire (Fay Masterson playing
"that Maria girl" in Power of One as well) said she was moving anyway, so
it didn't make a difference. Lynda sent her out with her coat so that
everyone would think she didn't, but Lynda's actually as soft as a kitten.
