It think it is worth mentioning. I have never seen that movie, but I have
seen Clerks and Chasing Amy, which, correct me if I'm wrong, both feature the
character "silent" Bob. If I'm not mistaken the man who plays this character
(Kevin Smith) also directed one or all of these movies.
Anyway, to make this PG relevant, you mentioned he cast Claire Forlani in
Mallrats. I thought it was peculiar how in Chasing Amy one of the main
characters makes reference to the fact that he is going to "spend the night
with a pizza and some Degrassi Junior High, which I believe is the Canadian
counter part to PG.
Just guessing Mr. Smith might be sort of a PG fan himself.
