Though even in Something Terrible, Colin says that even (Eaven) his mother
needs three independent witnesses before she'll believe him. Though this
brings up the question of Cindy, surely she was a friend of Colin's and he
was relatively serious with her. Lynda is his only really friend at that
point and only because they are both driven personalities.
