Sorry, Kevin, it rings a bell but a very distant one.

Lee was in WESTBEACH which lasted only one series. He played a laddish
type, not quite a rogue but not that likeable either if I recall correctly.
It was a good series set in a UK holiday resort, a light drama/soap.

As far as I know, Julie left to pursue other work, I think it may
have been a UK soap, but I'm not sure.
Lee's leaving is well documented in the PG Programme Guide,
and it's been discussed many times before on the list. Basically Lee was up
for a film role so couldn't commit to series 3 and 4, the role fell
through so Lee was free to do PG after all, but sadly it was too late as
the scripts were all written without Kenny. I believe he was keen to do
series 5 but was unable due to other commitments.
Lee will soon be seen
in the long awaited UK film METRO, playing opposite Christian Bale and
Emily Watson. I believe it opens in the UK very soon !
