How so? As a regular episode the mystery would have been solved in a weeks
time! It would have dropped significance, just like Spikes visits to America
became somewhat routine.

For that matter basically any series finale if done the right way, could have
become a season finale. We all agree that Day Dreams would have worked
wonderfully as a series finale, but when they changed it to a season finale
we loved it too...

More PG is always a good idea...

Well, if you want to know, use your imagination, or use Kevin's and read his
story. I absolutely adored it :) Is there a sequel to expect?

How could everything just be resolved like that? What would be left to the
imagination? I think the very idea that you said that shows how wonderful
TAC actually is. It gave you something that made you want more, and made you
think of PG as something not quite finished. Enough so that you made your
own ending. There are an infenite number of ways to end a series. Moffat had
to choose one didn't he? He decided to be original, and it only shows
more merit for the show that he didn't cop out and make everything resolved.
This episode made me think, and made me tell my friends constantly that
there are crocodiles...
