Well, there's nothing that really has the same meaning, and certainly nothing
with the same double-meaning.

I guess (my Gaelic being rather limited!) that something like 'buidheann na
paipearan' would be 'the newspaper gang', but there's no direct equivalent for
the verb... you would just use something like 'thoir air', which means to force
(someone to do something).
