I had never even thought of Sam as a "major babe" until I read some
publicity/teen mag stuff about her. Which is not to say that Gabrielle
Anwar is not lovely looking woman. I was always much more interested in
Lynda... possibly because of Julia's looks (which I personally prefer to
GA's) - but I think it is mainly because of Lynda's personality.
When I think of her, I don't think "what a bitch" (lets face it, if that's
all we thought, the show wouldn't work). Sure, she's a horror in the
newsroom sometimes - but at least she's got some spark! Sam never appealled
to me because she never really showed herself to be a major personality in
herself... well, not to the extent of Lynda, anyway. Lynda has direction,
intelligence *and* looks... Sam, for me, was just a bit... "obvious"

Well, people are odd, y'know...
...and anyway - as far as going out with someone who treats people better,
Lynda, who simply maintains her usual aggression in a relationship, or Sam
"whatever happened to that guy?" Black?

That joke's so bad I could almost believe I'd written it myself :)
Murray,
Who's sure that not *all* editors are as bossy as Lynda... :)
