Advance Australia Fair is the official anthem of Australia, but
Waltzing Matilda is kind of like Rule Britannia or America, the
Beautiful to their respective countries. I apologise for drafting off
PG subjects to all who find this confusing.
As for the best, or most moving, etc. national anthem, I think the
Czech Republic's is the best. I think Highland Cathedral is a great
song and should be Scotland's national anthem when it goes indie.
I really don't see why the English object so strongly to the proposal
of Scotland having a U.N. seat. I mean the Soviet Union let Ukraine
and Belarus have their own UN seats, and they were dictatorships.
