I guess everyone has different interpretations of the reasons' behind certain reactions. They didn't know he was suicidal, but they did know that he was depressed and a lonely boy, it would be in his school files. They certainly couldn't put his Psycological profile as a happy go lucky guy with not a care in the world. (just an anaogy of what he is not). Well, they include a psycological profile (right or wrong) in all student's file (I think) in the States. And judging by what Sullivin said was in Lynda's school file durring Day Dreams, I am assuming that it is the same in England.
