Sarah might be better for Spike, but I think that he likes the dastardly Lynda's treatment of him. (Battered boyfriend's syndrome?) And then people so rarely want what is good for them - brussel sprouts for example. 1b. Likewise, I think that he would be bored in a relationship with Sarah, for all that she becomes a devil-may-care war correspondant later in life. For the same reason, I doubt that a relationship between Lynda and Kenny would work out. (But then again, it might just be that *I* would be bored by such relationships in PG. Selfish aint I!) 2. Spike looks to me like he thinks of Sarah as more of a sister-type person. Recall the way that he was coaching her about relationships in Killer on the line? ("Never answer on the first ring...") And then,it would show a distinct lack of forward planning to teach her how to dump guys and then go out with her... 3. Lynda would employ hit-persons, hired by Colin. Acherly, I could imagine such a relationship happening earlier on in the series, as a getting-Lynda-jealous thing, but not later... unless as a getting-Lynda-back for something plot. Offtopic: Hey, who 's the other Librarian on the list? I noticed that there were 2 listed in the demographics! Kathleen. Spike: "You know, I woke up with a good feeling about today, Boss." Lynda: "That happens sometimes. It's just nature's cruel way of getting you out of bed." http://alianet.alia.org.au/~kwatson/ -- T H E P R E S S G A N G M A I L I N G L I S T By default, pressing 'reply' will send mail back to the list, not to the author of the message you're replying to.
