Metroland was essentially about two friends who've known each other since
their school years and the life they live. the movie spans from when they were
sixteen to thirty and how they are when they're thirty. Chris, played by
Christian Bale, is married, with a daughter, living in "Metroland" (the
nickname for the city where they both grew up) doing the whole standard yuppie
thing. Toni, played by LEE ROSS(!!), is a wanderer who's spent the last ten
years traveling the world (including going to Pasadena, forty minutes from
where i live!!) and scamming with women. the whole movie is sort of a debate
about who has the better life...
