Ah, but *is* it just a dream? Okay, it's called "Day Dreams," but
it's clearly got its roots in "It's a Wonderful Life" (as continuity
announcer Tommy Boyd observed before the episode's original UK
transmission), and nobody ever accuses that of being a dream. I
think Steven Moffatt obviously enjoys throwing OTT and fantastic
elements into his programmmes (for example episode 5 of series 2 of
"Joking Apart"), and it's just possible that we are meant to
understand "Day Dreams" in that light.
Mind you, it *is* a bit farfetched...
All together now, clap your hands three times if you believe in
