I think the "Breakfast at Czar's" and "Something Terrible" lines are probably cracks at Lynda's expense (but not necessarily), as there's no doubt that Spike exaggerates ("he's been telling that story since there were only two other guys"), but for each exaggeration there may be a kernel of truth. Really, I was basing my theory on the "Money, Love and Birdseed" line, but I think it holds up to scrutiny. And anyway, it wasn't my short story that started the theory. Did anyone else out there read it, and if so can they remind me who wrote it and exactly *what* it described Spike getting up to at the dance?
