Hello all, and welcome to the collated results of the Best and Worst Episode
Lists that you have sent me.
First of all, thank you to those who voted.
There were a wide range of opinions expressed, and of the 40 episodes
(two-parters counted as one), 38 received votes on one or other of the lists
(Page One (ep 1) and Deadline (ep 4) received no votes).
22 episodes were nominated on the best lists, and 23 on the worst lists, so
there were 7 episodes that polarised opinion and were nominated for both
lists. Four of these didn't make the overall top ten on either list:
Friends Like These =21 (best) and =11 (worst)
Day Dreams =13 =15
Friendly Fire =13 =11
There Are Crocodiles =13 =17
but the other three all made one of the top tens while receiving votes for
the other:
Something Terrible =7 =19
Chance Is A Fine Thing 19 =9
UnXpected 20 2
Series 3 was both the most liked and least disliked season, with season 1
the least liked and seasons 4 and 5 the equal most disliked (even though the
4th season was the second favourite) (have I confused everyone yet?)

One other interesting feature was that there was at least one episode from
each series in the overall top ten on both lists, which shows the strength
of the show over a number of years.
Finally, if anyone who didn't vote wants to be included, they can still send
me their lists and I will update the overall tallies accordingly.
